Albertville played host to some the areas top bands. Friday during the Porkchop Dinner "Seldom Herd" a bluegrass band played from followed by "DiamondBack" a regional country favorite under the big top. Saturday evening "The Eelpout Stringers" a bluegrass band performed followed by an abrieviated "Lamont Cranston" show. Sunday George Jundt provided some easy listening music with his accordian following the parade.
Diamonback
Friday night June 13th at 8:30 p.m. "Diamondback" a well known country favorite took the stage playing country favorites. The band was a big hit with the thousands in the crowd.
Lamont Cranston
Saturday evening June 14th "Lamont Cranston" a regional blues favorite will took the stage at 8:30 p.m.. The performance was shortened condsiderably due to bad weather. The crowd was ready for some good blues music prior to the rain.
Seldom Herd
"Seldom Herd" a regional Bluegrass favorite performed live Friday, June 13th at 6:30 p.m. at the Lions Pavilion in Central Park to a packed house at the porkchop dinner.
Eelpout Stringers
The "Eelpout Stringers" were on stage Saturday, June 14th at 6:00 p.m. at the Lions Pavilion in Central Park playing some great Bluegrass music to the crowd.
